Bring your favorite dish, salad, dessert

 

Members brought their favorite dish, Michael Thomas a spicy apricot chicken dish,

 Gary Tunson a fish dish, Chuck Myers smoked salmon, Jerry Weyant Macaroni and cheese shrimp casserole, and Ted Landry fried up some delicious fish. Michael Thomas also provided the desert, 2 cakes one lemon and one spice nut.

 

Bring an odd (not to familiar) fishing item for discussion.

Don Wimberly brought several curious item such as a home made catfish hook remover, a fishing platform with rod holders, and a box full of lures.  Michael Thomas showed a 6 pack cooler with a built in am-fm radio. He also brought a box of fishing lures.

 

Learn to throw a casting net.   Learn new fishing knots.

Jerry Weyant demonstrated how to use a casting net, then almost all the members got a chance to try their skill with good results.

Jerry Weyant and Don Wimberly showed how to tie some fishing knots,

berkley, modified clinch, and in-line or dropper knot.

 

Most of all –everyone had good food and had some fun!!
