These guys cleaning their catch while standing in the river (At the junction of the Kenai and Russian rivers), plenty of water to wash things down, just grab the buchet hanging on a chain.

The lady with the Chinook salmon caught it on 12 pound test monofilament weighed in at 80#. She also caught a not quite so large monster the year before.

4 guys (The ones wearing hats) from this area. The gold colored glasses and the white ball cap beside him are my step sons, the other two are working buddies, and all 4 are electricians.

Rusty Hook member Chuck Myers showed a slide show (84 slides) of a fishing trip he and his wife made to Alaska last summer.  He talked about flyout fishing for salmon, shonook and king salmon, he also talked about deep sea fishing for halibut. It was a long drive though rough terrain and the fishing license was $140 and $100 extra for kink salmon license. It was a very interesting presentation and he treated all those at the meeting with some smoked salmon he brought back from his trip to Alaska.
